I'M TESA.

After serving in the Air Force for 10 years as an Aircraft mechanic, I worked as a civilian aviation technician for 2 more years. I choose to change careers and go back to school to become a Midwife. I graduated from UOP and NCM top of my class.

Immediately after school I went into Private Practice Midwifery. Realizing a need for services in the Antelope Valley, I opened The AV Birth Center in February 2016. My clinic model of care has allowed low income families to receive expert care and birth services, improving birth outcomes.

I work in private practice as well as a community clinic.

I currently serve on our states Midwifery Advisory Cousel, and I'm the sitting Vice Chair for the California Chapter American Association of Birth Centers
